the first 'friendly' meetup
We met for the very first time under the highly sensible and very official excuse of... shopping. Truth is, I didn't actually need anything. I just wanted a reason to see you in person.
Funny how 'shopping' slowly became our favourite excuse to spend time together.
dinner at Kini's cozy corner
Our second time meeting. Dinner at your and your mom's favourite place — Kini. Afterwards we roamed around Koregaon Park, ate Natural's ice cream, petted random cats, and spent way too long struggling to get a decent mirror selfie together.
Those long walks in KP and endless ice creams quickly became my favourite routine.
my absolute favourite flowers
You surprised me and gave me a beautiful bunch of flowers. They definitely weren't the first flowers I had ever received in my life, but they instantly became my absolute favourite of all. I kept them like they were gold.
A simple gesture that completely melted me.
our first real argument
A random Monday evening that somehow became our first real argument in person. I got upset about you ragebaiting me by talking about other men and constantly being on your phone. Everything felt intense for a while, but we eventually sat down and talked it through near INOX.
Looking back, I think this was the moment we learned we actually wanted to fight for each other instead of walking away.
badminton & helipad sunsets
Our first ever badminton match—which I absolutely loved. Afterwards, we walked around the race course, eventually winding up at the helipad just in time to watch the sky turn pink and capture the prettiest sunset together.
Cooling down from the game and just sitting next to you watching the sunset... magical.
holding hands during Dhurandhar 2
Our biggest breakthrough. We sat down to watch the movie Dhurandhar 2, but I literally could not tell you a single plot point because I was too busy focusing on holding your hand. I couldn't focus on anything but you.
My heart was beating so loud I thought you'd hear it! And then another sunset at the race course.
our beautiful first kiss
The day it all became real. We both know I'm not exactly a legendary kisser, but that moment felt absolutely amazing. Time stood completely still, and everything else just faded into the background.
ps. the very next day, you came over and left me covered in hickeys, claiming what was rightfully yours!
stepping into your screen
I visited your place for the very first time. Stepping into the bedroom that I had been seeing in pictures and over video calls for over four years... it was the strangest, most surreal feeling. Walking around the room made the long distance finally feel over.
From pixels and glass screens to touching the actual walls. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.
confessions on the trampoline
House party at Yanit's. You got a little too drunk, sat in my lap on the trampoline, and confessed your love to me. Then you pulled out your phone to show me that secret Discord server filled with all the cute things you wrote about us, and the screenshots of our video calls.
Holding you under the stars while you showed me your cute notes... I realized I never want to let you go.
the rikshaw chase & cinema gate
After our argument, you asked for space and went to the cinema alone. I was working from home and rushed through my work to surprise you. I took a rickshaw (never taken one in my life!) to reach early, and waited at the gate for over an hour.
Waiting at the gates felt like an eternity, but the look of pure shock and joy on your face was worth every single second.
unexpected wedding bells
You invited me to your aunt's wedding and introduced me to your family. It was so unexpected and sudden, but standing there next to you made me realize down to my bones that you truly care about us and our future together.
Scary, formal, beautiful, and absolutely unforgettable. My heart was so full.
